I haven’t followed Game of Thrones at all, and have had no desire to since I heard about the Red Wedding. More than a generation ago I had no desire to follow Dallas either.

Maybe part of the fun of watching these bad movies is the good-sport kind of fun that says, “Well, we tried, but this and that came up and well, here we are.”

Seriously now, is Trump’s support really that strong among avowedly religious Americans, or just among religious conservatives? (Or have “religious” and “conservative” become synonymous in America?) And is this why I’m sensing so much outright fury against believers among those atheists I encounter on the Internet?
