Really? Cash? You can do electronic e-commerce right from your computer. In fact, it can be very fast if you have a cable or DSL modulating/demodulating modem and a NIC card.

Yes, but it has many, many more stickers!

Well said. Even on Gizmodo et al and their constant anti-F22 circle jerks, I've rarely seen an article that is so clearly and completely wrong.

(post removed because Giz' image handling absolutely blows and the comment made no sense without the image that went with it. Seriously guys, stop going for "visionary" or whatever it is and just shoot for "works")

Yeah, that's what I thought, too. Strangely, though, of all of the things on that list, that and the tank with the Mig engine are tied for "most wanted by treesloth".

If not from among the living entirely!

Don't think of it as a Chevy with crappy brakes. Think of it as a cheap Bugatti! After all, Ettore himself was supposed to have said, "I make my cars to go, not to stop!" That's a pretty good predecessor! As in, "That car really puts the 'decease' in 'predecessor'."

So the upgrade from the $5 hooker to $10 is probably worth it, but the $20 one might be a waste?

Yeah, it does seem like it. I know it's not really in its element until 150 has come and gone, but somehow that seems like less of an victory than it should have had.

Excellent post. Add to that this document:

Nothing to add or offer from me; just a thank you for the lengthy and well-thought-out post.

No kidding. Old people all look the same.

A Veyron. With a Yugo logo slapped on it. "Yeah, this is pretty much all I could afford. Man, you should see the cars that are made to go fast!"

Because neither side is yielding, resolution seems far away.

For some reason, $100 fine and/or 90 days in jail sounds like an odd combination of penalties. Either, say, 3 days in jail and $100 or $5,000 and 90 days. They just seem way out of proportion to each other.

Eet mor chikin... and duk...

I think that's the way to go, then send it off to Hennessey Performance for the Velociraptor upgrade.

Ya know, I kinda get that impression, too...

I'm kind of hoping they sell them in a big fire sale, sort of like the HP TouchPad. I'd definitely pick one up.
