Wasn't there an occasion in which Bill Clinton asked Al Gore what his email address was, and Al answered, "www-dot-whitehouse-dot-...ummm...". Someone else prompted, "dot-g-o-v", and Al finished, "dot-gov-dot", or something like that. Not that they were dumb or anything— it was just a very new thing.

@yojimbo: I remember an announcer saying something like, "w-w-w-period-a-b-c-period-c-o-m". Not sure why, but for some reason I thought the "period" thing was pretty hilarious.

@Drackar: Hmm... I'll have to learn more about that. If the company does finance gun control campaigns, that's pretty contrary to what I want my money doing. If that's so, perhaps they'll be irritated to know that I use my Leatherman to maintain my privately-owned and -bought AR-15, my .45 1911, my .40 S&W XD-SC, my

Ordered. Now everyone else, go order one, too! You need to do your part so I can have mine.

About 1/4 were used off-site, mostly in people's homes and as their daily-use laptops. We tracked problem and failure

@Adam?!: Why? My last Windows machine (a Dell Optiplex) lasted 8 years. It was still doing just fine when a lightning strike took it out. Windows machines most certainly can.

@Lahjik: Sorry, that completely fails to contradict my point. Try again? I really, really promise to read your reply.

@Lahjik: Did you notice that the measure to keep the cameras failed? This is hardly a case of "buy(ing) our government" and "do(ing) as they please".

@RedEvil: Compared to some things, yes; namely, bricks and parachutes.

@Craniumz: No, there were no military bases with parts of the internet.

I saw her get into a catfight with some lady. Woof!

@Davina Spafford Stuart: I don't know of anything of his own. There are a couple of things in the Halloween episode, though. The obvious one was dressing as Mal. The less obvious one was the blue-gloved people that showed up at the crime scene.

So electrical conductors are less resistant when given lots of alcohol? We now know that they are female.
