In the USA, a Bachelor's is what you get after 4 years of college (university). A Master's usually takes 2 years beyond that. So the Master's is the one that's more like "half a degree." A Doctorate is 4+ years beyond the Bachelor's, and often results in a Master's, incidentally, 2 or so years through.

Gin Blossoms' third album (the one after they reunited) was really good! I'd highly recommend it for people who like their first album.
As much as it appears everybody would like to avoid the singles (which I don't get, because I think they were fantastic), I Alone rocks pretty hard too, in that quiet-loud-quiet-loud way.
