I’ve often thought about this. I’d love to see an article that lays out how the US compares to other countries along some of these qualitative measures, so we can see how we stack up to other countries overall.

My guess is we suck.

My theory is that Obama has to support Trump after the election. If he were to express his real concerns, the financial markets could crash. And I suppose there is a tiny TINY chance Trump may not be so wretched.

I had some extra savings in the stock market. I pulled it out already.

I’ve been to two McDonalds that have a television airing Fox News in the seating area. I’m curious to know if it is McDonald’s corporate policy to have Fox News on, or the franchise owner. Has anyone else noticed Fox News on in McDonalds?

I always thought that the harder it is to bootstrap your way out of poverty, the fewer people who are going to be able to do it.

I think you have a point. One cannot complain about becoming pregnant because there are emotional ramifications to telling a child they are a mistake you regret.

HOWEVER, I really wish people were more aware of the challenges (financial and otherwise) to raising children and maybe a bit more proactive about family…
