Looks like somebody in the Taco Bell marketing department saw one of the Fyre Festival documentaries and had completely the wrong takeaway.

When she tweeted about this last month, she noted that boycotts have actually been successful in the fight for civil rights in the past. Near as I can tell, her argument against it this time is because it would gore her ox.

As the Post notes, Hollywood heavy hitters who film in Georgia, including Disney, have said they are seriously considering taking their films elsewhere.

But, and this is a novel idea, why not do both? Take your money and bring it somewhere less anti women and also contribute to the campaigns of those going against the GOP. Win win. There are great people in Georgia, but the rest have been voting these assholes in for decades. Actions have consequences. 

Yea, you can’t vote for these assholes for decades and then suddenly be shocked, shocked I tell you! to find out that they enact the exact policies they said they would. And you really can’t be shocked when all the people from California suddenly don’t want to spend their money in your backwater of a state anymore.…

EXACTLY! They can fund candidates without having to be instate.

When the governor made the “c” class comment that should have been enough. Hollywood and entertainment has given plenty to Georgia and it keeps shooting itself in the foot.  Move everything to a more friendly state or bring it back to CA.

I don’t know why Andy Cohen doesn’t include mandatory reunion appearance in their contracts.

If the corporations were seriously against it they could boycott the state and fund challengers to the current body of politicians there at the same time.
