I’m not being naive.

Ditto.
I know what dictatorship means. Context. It is your friend. I used “dictatorship,” not in the strictly academic definition (though dictatorship isn’t just 1-person or 1-group, but can be a group of people and the group of people I’m referring to is the “two” parties which can be lumped into one group of people called…
I know they aren’t required to do that, but since we are all playing this game that they’re the best way of representing the will of the people (and everyone gets their panties in a twist over third, fourth, and fifth-party candidates), maybe they should do a better job of acting like they are actually doing what they…
We do NOT live in a two-party dictatorship in which the party decides this person is the winner and this one is not before all votes have been cast. We live in a constitutional republic with a representative democracy. Which means everyone—everyone—gets to have their vote counted.
I am not a “bro”. I am a progressive, feminist, typically party-line Democrat woman who is #StillSanders.
This is gas lighting.
I’ve definitely worn nice skinny jeans and a nice sweater to a business meeting and was told I was inappropriately dressed.
I’m stuck in the greys and maybe no one will see this (is this a bad time to ask that I be ungreyed?)
OMG I was just thinking about how I love Watership Down AND Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh. My two favorite books and how I wish the Secret of Nimh was being remade.
Oh, that’s the saddest part. They always think there’s just ONE and there’s never just one. SMH.
So, as a former “other woman” there’s a good way to act and a bad way (as is true of everything). I’ve had extended convos with the wife and even was Facebook friends with her (he found it and made her delete so now we just text—turns out he’s abusive! And no he didn’t display that behavior towards me, but I was not…
It’s not like what she’s singing about isn’t true.
Yep, I know what shade is ;)
It’s an art.
Pretty sure that’s a burn, not shade. They’d have to say something other than “malicious” and “faltering” to make it shade as that’s pretty blatant insulting.
It’s called body composition.
I know this is going to be super shocking for everyone trying to make Emma Watson out to be a (white) feminist, but. People get dark spots and undereye bags and other annoying blemishes, regardless of skin color. And surprise, surprise! Cremes that lighten the skin reduce the discoloration. So even WHITE people want…
Like seriously? Did you watch the interview? For you to come out with the Donald Trump bit as the key part of the interview is CRAZY. Her perspective was waaaay more succinct and brought up points that no one is talking about (like Monsanto).
Nope. Maybe multi-racial. Bi-racial is one parent is one race and the other parent is another race. Multiracial is like when one parent is black and white and one parent is white and Latino. So now you have a kid that’s black, white, Latino. That’s multiracial. And only if they choose to identify that way.
