The show is continuing. It was just the season finale, not the series finale.

Frankly, I'm happy they're doing an entirely independent show. I've not seen one episode of the UK version and probably won't until it ends.

The Reiden Lake incident happened as soon as Peter and Walter crossed back into our universe.
