Pedantry, thy name is zissou80.

I’ve watched Dibrino go around the same tracks I do and while conceptually you know that you’re pathetically slow compared to even fast club racers, that kid is so fast it borders on demoralizing. Dude is QUICK. I recognize some of the roads in this video too (& Pats Acres, the kart track) pretty rad. Looks like they

You can slide it, you can knee-drag on it, you can hit the dirt and catch air with it. And it's still wicked quick within its given range.

That is the best analogy to describe supermoto that I’ve ever heard. Bikes that only have 1 cylinder, where 270 pounds is a “heavy bike”, you don’t sit down because the seats are never comfortable, plus it’s safer to stand up, yet they are so lightweight and an absolute blast to ride. Fuck it, I’m skipping out of work

MOST cars these days are good at MOST things versus the Wrangler that is literally only good at one thing.

Well that’s humble.

MY BRAIN IS FULL OF WANTS!

LOL! Excellently original and informed joke there, pal! Spoken like someone who has never driven one on the street, let alone off road!

First impression: DEAR GOD MY EYES!!!!! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE JASON IM FUCKING BLIND!!!!!!!

Upon regaining my eyesight: leopard print aside, that’s actually really freaking neat!

Side note, slap a trailer on it so it can tow this to the campground!

I’ve worked on 2 Harley Davidson bikes. Attention to detail and fit and finish is not something I would ever give them. Sloppy tolerances, yes. Vibrates to hell and back? Yep.

They arent some Chinese bike or a Ural, but I always found them to be pretty equal with Japanese build quality of the same era, but commanding

I imagine the BMW designers will be confused as to your comment on form. Wouldn’t it be more accurate to describe the aesthetic chosen to be one not of your liking rather than one that required no thought?

Why is the area of design and styling the one area where we can’t seem to step back and find beauty in the forms

I even most Harley riders would disagree with the Goldwing comparo. In fact many get them when the HD becomes too uncomfortable and the body can’t take it anymore. The GW is an extremely competent bike and a pretty good handler. It obviously makes no concessions for style.

The post refers to Cruiser’s in general, not just Harley’s.

I havea feeling he is probably aware of the audience he has on this site.

“I’d never ridden a Harley before, but I put 500 miles on that bike in two days. Yes, it’s heavy and it doesn’t go around corners all that well. But boy was it comfortable.”

Nor are Harleys the only bike the author asked a question about. I also don’t see a mention of Harlys in TBAL’s post, he could be referencing a GoldWing or something.

It’s the Escalade of Bikes IMHO.

I always thought of the Honda Goldwing as the S-class of bikes. Able to eat up many miles in supreme comfort, with more cylinders than necessary and fantastic build quality.

Except an s class handles fairly well, can accelerate with the best of them and most importantly can stop. Harleys/cruisers are known for not being able to do any of the above :/

I almost always identify with your comments, but in this case...are you kidding me? The S-Class of bikes? Dude...more like the Lincoln LTD of bikes. Or the 1975 Cadillac El Dorado of bikes. S-Class? Certainly not.
