Hey, it’s our monthly “I’m going to finish the series, really I am” news item.

Pretty much made my peace with the books not ending. Period.

He’s entered Late-Stage Fantasy Anthology Syndrome.

George, we talked about this: No talking about the fucking book unless it’s to announce the publication date. Go get the genital cuff.

you underestimate the number of conflicting plot threads he’s dreamt up in the books. for some reason, gurm populated the books with like, ten times the number of named characters there were on the show. each one is off doing some unique side quest, so it’s almost impossible to have each one doing something that

I suppose he has nothing left to lose by going full ham on this.

Yes, I seemed to have missed it. Although I think it’ll be harder in Smollett’s case. Candace Owens wasn’t really a big name before she made the cynical switch. But then again, conservatives are so desperate for cultural relevance that they’ll grab onto whoever is convenient. And quickly discard it when it is no

Uhhhh... what the fuck are you talking about? The right has been obsessed with him, using the case as justification to dismiss hate crime legislation. Right wing nut jobs are saying what he did is worse than committing a hate crime.

Is this guy seriously crazy?

This is a really weird article. You should have always felt weird about Anakin killing Tusken women and children. That was the point, and why the dialogue specifically mentions not just the men, but the women, and the children too. You do realize he’s destined to be Darth Vader, right?

I’m in the only one who picked up on a GLARING flaw in EP4? Bobba goes looking for his armor inside the sarlacc in EP4... But in EP1 we see him punch his way out of the sand... IN HIS ARMOR! So we know he got out of the sarlacc in his armor, so why go look for it inside the sarlacc?

I always assumed Palpatine had a hand in Shmi’s murder. Like, he somehow arranged for her to be killed. So I never thought the Tuskens were fully to blame. The timing of her death is just way too coincidental otherwise.

You might be overthinking this a bit...

It’s definitely a bit incoherent, but I think the intent is clear: Anakin’s murder of the tribe is a sign that there is something seriously, brutally wrong with him, and it’s the thing that nobody manages to catch and engage with in time to head off the onrushing tragedy. I actually think Padme’s forgiveness and

Boba Fett humanized the Tuskens, and then revenge-killed an entire biker gang. Can’t wait for the retcon 10 years from now to humanize the bikers. I bet they all had a wife, kids and orphaned nephew they were providing for.

Of course the sand people are violent savages, as originally depicted. You’re forgetting that all Disney Star Wars is just high budget fanfic. This is no different than someone’s short story where Kylo and Jar Jar run off together and get married. Just like all the Cthulhu mythos material written by people who are not

I mean, maybe you could just say that particular band of Tuskens that Anakin slaughtered were one that take a different approach to the more peaceable ones that Boba ended up with?

Guys, has anyone considered that sarlacs might have complex emotional lives?

On this planet called earth there is a species called humans. It has many many tribes. Some tribes live peacefully for decades. Some are warmongering a*holes. Some have highly intelligent leaders who know whats best for their tribe and have their best intrests at heart. Others are raving baboons who care only for
