I've never heard of someone with a boob fetish.

I don't think it's about my birthday…let's check the clip.

Actually preferred this week to last, which had the babysitting subplot dragging it down.

Small nitpick for Alasdair: Louise is 9, not 8.

Apropos of a hormone-driven episode: watch Zeke's eyes drop to Tina's chest the moment he first appears in the episode.

AV Club, my friend, I haven't learned a thing.

As mentioned in the comments below, Linda has been established to have a love for raising children and it's pretty obvious that she misses having an infant around. The fact that she went baby crazy for Sidecar seems totally in character for me.

I think he was trying to spare the kids' feelings while simultaneously making a point for the One Eyed Snakes. It would be out of character and dickish for Bob to outright say that he had a lousy time in front of his kids, plus he was attempting to win the bikers over to the concept of fatherhood so they would have

Exact opposite for me. Main plot was hysterical, one of the funniest of the season, whereas the B plot was likable but not as good as the past few.

I've heard that your penis gets stretched out and it's never the same.

Stand By Gene: only the second episode of the show to get an A from both an AV Club writer and the community (Hawk & Chick being the first).

One of the hardest laughs I had: Jimmy Jr. recalling Jocelyn's advice. "…Yeah!"

I think there was just the right amount of Rudy. In fact, there could have been more; Alasdair seemed rightfully put off by Rudy's emotional arc being almost entirely ignored until the last couple of minutes. Appropriate to his character, he kind of faded into the background of his own episode. I thought the ending

Since I just caught up with the show, these were the first new episodes I had actually anticipated and watched live and they were both excellent, particularly Stand By Gene, which is an instant classic. Feels really good to see this show come out strong out of yet another short hiatus.

The ending of this episode is awful, but I think any truly negative response to this episode is an overreaction. There's so much good stuff happening here that it cancels out the contrived ending. The new characters are hilarious, the family interaction is smooth and witty, there's some great animation. It just fails

Kevin Kline is fucking incredible in this episode. Just like everyone else.

I'm thrilled that FLCL season 1 is going to get some attention in light of this reboot, but if the original writing staff isn't in place, I can imagine new episodes being tryhard stoner bullshit instead of the wild and freewheeling adventures of the first season. Going in with an open mind nonetheless.

You had an opinion on the episode and used that opinion as a springboard to insult the intelligence of the show's fanbase as a whole.

It's all well and good to have a dissenting opinion about a popular show, but there's no need to be a pompous ass about it and look down your nose at "rubes" who possess a different sense of humor. I think Big Bang Theory is mindless garbage posing unconvincingly as informed nerd satire, but you don't see me haughtily

For me, the worst part of Family Fracas wasn't the disappointing outcome but the entire family mocking Bob in front of Jimmy Pesto at the end. Absolutely awful characterization there.
