My vote is for James McAvoy.

Yeah, maybe Tom Hardy can be cast as Picard.
Here’s hoping they recast with Chris Evans and Chris Pratt.
I, too, was that girl in my group of friends. I grew up in a secular household so I never believed in the Ouija board, but my friends were really gullible and I was a good liar.
That was me. I moved it. If you ever used the ouija board with me, I was jerking the oracle around slowly from letter to letter because your slumber party was annoying and that game was boring and I liked watching you freak out.
Has it occurred to the scientists that the dead people are taking control of the alive people’s eyeballs because they already knew this?
Guessing that the Red Bursts are going to be a result of the creation of the Kelvin timeline causing ripples backwards. Hence the link to Spock and also a handy excuse for the differences between Discovery, Classic Trek, *and* New Trek.
This looks so fun, especially compared to the first season (which I loved, but I understand a lot of the issues people have with it, even if I don’t totally agree). One of the things I, as someone in STEM myself, love about Star Trek is how it is a true SCIENCE fiction show, all the characters have PhDs for goodness…
I remember last summer and fall when so-called true die-hard Trekkers were certain - nay, DEMANDED - that Discovery only get a single season, if that. They were so certain it wasn’t Star Trek that they believed that everyone would reject it. And although I had nothing to do with anything outside of being a subscriber…
Well, of course *you’d* say that, Three Dicks.
Wait, there are people who don’t already know this?? It was obvious to me the first time I saw it in the theater and I was five years old at the time. Luke looks down at his mechanical hand, realizing that he’ll become like Vader if he kills him.
I don’t see dislike or indifference as an issue; everyone’s taste is their business. It’s the lengths that the naysayers go to that baffles me.
We all want our tech to stay secure, but we also want a life that’s easy and convenient—and sometimes the two don’t…
Yeah, a large number seem to have grown up with the prequels and TPM was their first SW movie experience in a cinema. They also think a marginal increase in representation is declaring war on white males.
Solo also did poorly because the holiday it was released on is the death slot for films. It was a horrible weekend to release a film. Deadline and THR head articles about all the films that had flopped there throughout the past.
a backlash of whiney alt-right manbabies
Finn is actually my favorite character in the Sequel Trilogy and his character being shredded and made useless (as well as suddenly giving him piloting skills out of nowhere) in TLJ is my #1 problem with this film.
I suggest you try to find the middle path.
Gosh! Is there any problem that punching can’t solve?
I was rather fond of the movie depiction of the event horizon.
