“Everyone making up to $120,000 per year would receive a monthly payment of up to $2,000, with married couples eligible to receive up to $4,000 per month. Heads of households with incomes of $150,000 or less would also be eligible.”

Yeah i have to say I dont visit this site as often as I used to but I always enjoy Tom’s articles.

Pretty sure this only affects federal loans and not private loans where the bulk of debt resides. Not funding colleges in general with tax dollars is ok with me. This line about going after “for profit” universities and colleges is stupid. They’re all for profit.

Agreed.  Picked up a Miata a couple years ago that needed pretty much an overhaul of sorts.  New top, new alternator, new belts, complete cooling system replace (hoses for now radiator soon), loose shifter (son didnt want a manual....he’s for sale now if you need a lazy teenager), new plugs, wires etc, new brake pads

Yeah Im with you.  The amount of blind trust I put in Google Maps and its ultimate betrayal of that trust made what Darth Vader did to those kids look like Sunday school.

I should have done one on called An American Drives in Greece because for 10 days I was on the edge of my driver’s seat. Plus all the places I went were ungodly beautiful and I saw cars Id never seen or heard of before.  Oh well.  Maybe this year if I go back.

Just remember trials swing in both directions.  The accused is allowed to call witnesses, file for discovery etc.  You dont get to run a kangaroo court for shit of this magnitude.  For all the democrats Russian Boogeyman shit they seem eager to have a trial modeled after them.

The senate can move to acquit at any time. They dont need the articles sent over so dont think of this as a game of checkers with a 3 year old.

With a CarMax warranty....

155k for this?  Hard, very hard pass.

“Or if you’re a black patient and your doctor doesn’t take your complaints seriously”

Please provide some peer reviewed sources to back this statement up please.  The health care industry is a for profit model so the notion they wont “take you seriously” because of skin color is something you need to give some data for

“almost looks too easy”

Guess I need to up my “easy” game because none of this looks easy (or practical for most people)

Not knowing how much I would miss them being small and wanting to snuggle and listen to stories etc.  To any new or future parent: Dont rush them being small.  Cherish that as much as you can.

Yeah....thats not how brakes work.

“Personally, I wouldn’t want to wish a driving under the influence charge on a stranger, as it can have serious consequences beyond just a fine, a license suspension and losing the ability to go to Canada.”

When they kill someone you love get back to me on this ridiculous perspective.

Earlier models yes.  Samcrac on YouTube bought one with this very issue.  I dont know what year models they addressed this problem.  The bigger issues with these are the supposed engine out to fix the AC which evidently will break at some point though there are supposedly some work arounds to getting this done without

I always found the shape of the convertible to be more appealing.  Something about the rear end on the convertible speaks to me more than the hardtop.  Either way a gorgeous car and Ive heard the exhaust note a time or two and was not disappointed.  Im always concerned about reliability with Jags in general.

“McLaren is busy building a portfolio of models to meet every customer’s needs, from the super rich to the ultra rich.”

No fucking shit.  She’ll need 10 grand at all times for when this thing decides to break and it wont be long.

Im a mediocre parent at best and a bad one on some days.  Ive never been a “better parent  than everyone else” because how exactly can one quantify this really?  Subjective metrics being what they are.
