What are traditional raiders going to do when enemy AIs get smart enough to strategize on the fly and there is no such thing as 'knowing your spots and roles' beyond knowing what's possible with your loadout and hopefully being able to react properly to changes on the battlefield?

Uh, FFXIV's scale has long since been ruined by the teleport spell only costing gil. Flying mounts will likely be niche items used in quests or only occasionally to get around, because you just teleport to the paces where you need to be anyway.

The expansion is supposed to have as much landmass and content as FFXIV: ARR did when it was initially released. It's going to be very interesting. Plus, it's going to have new classes and jobs, and a whole new faction (apparently complete with sub-factions): I'm assuming you can start play as a brand new character…
