It is heavier for sure, and a bit larger inside. The trunk isnt s2000 or lotus tiny, just is small. FYI.... I had 3 rug rats in our 08 MR. Turns out the rear seats of the X have one of the largest hip room around, more than a X5 = more car seats. Kept it till the twins were 4 and the other was 6.
