Replaced a radiator due to cracked end tank on a 1986 Mercury Sable (Lightbars!), and thus began my collection of one time use tools, transmission oil lines release.

Stealerships gonna steal... Let me buy from the manufacturer already. Put this archaic legacy BS to bed. What year is it anyway? I dont need/want their consumer protection for a nominal fee.
Randy? Is that you?
Any car where trash/junk has to be moved before you can sit down or move your feet inside. Your chances of dying on this trip just tripled.
1980 Buick Skylark... 1 date. Her next date was in a 325i. Had no idea of pulling power of BMWs.
Tis true... Have run into more than a few that would not date unless “lifted truck”. Guess my Eagle Talon would never make the cut. My loss I suppose.
No doubt the values of new/used cars has recently gone up (insanely) and some might be able to capitalize on that, but I cant help but wonder if some of that gain is the loss of the value of a dollar across the board. If you have it to spare then sure, but to replace something is a different story.
Small to midsize EV Pickup... Mighty Max-power? ..... crickets...
wink wink... still have my IX MR... 38k on her clock. Bury me in it.
Hallow ground now attempting to deliver.. Rivian.
Long since defunct Barret Mistu maybe? Was a hoot at anyrate. Who’s laughing now Mitsubishi.... no-one, that who. Lemme check BAT for EVO values. :-p
How many times do I have to decline the wheel protection coverage? They even tried to use my wife “driving style” against me. “You know she is going to hit the curb.”
I once got kicked out of a Mitsubishi dealership for offering MSRP on the newly released 2003 Evo. Does that count? Wife was not impressed.
VFR? Definitely a Honda.
Do you still have the car? if not... Im interested in said useless tools.
I have that shirt and it is awesome!!
While I agree with you mostly... There is some really strange german pixie dust stuff that enables you to drive like an asshat in a BMW. Never having owned a BMW, then getting one, those cars are built and drive so well (when new) they enable a level of jerkhood I had not experienced before. Becoming aware of this…
Suppose you are right... only one way to go when you start at the top. Unibodies need not apply. CUV.
Flip side is you wont loose any/much money on it. Bought mine for 24k with 89k miles on it. At 170k miles now and think it is worth around 20k. Get the one that will last you. Steer clear of rust and other people’s rigs.
I thought SUV’s were stupid and dumb waste of lumps of metal. Then I drove my 2005 Landcruiser off-road to 12000 feet. I cherish how reliable the old goat is. Never selling it. 300k miles here we come.
