Verizon completely screwed me when I tried to opt out using their "material adverse affect" clause. You know, the thing that says that if they want to modify our existing contract to charge me more, I have the right to opt out ETF-free.

I'm a little unclear as to why the government is involved in creating what will basically be a private sector product. But I'm glad that it's not going to be some mandatory ID as some had feared.

At CEDIA last year, I had to manually switch my iPhone over to Edge to get any type of network access. And that show only had about 30,000 attendees.

@Aeno: I'm sure Giz is fully capable of writing articles without opinions. However, they're a blog that is largely successful due to their opinion work, not because they mindlessly aggreggate and regurgitate other people's work.

While Google has definitely taken a hit from spammers, Bing is far worse, in my recent experience.
