12 Monkeys feels like a miss here. It’s basically a private dick/ time traveller movie right? And Looper?

It’s been a while, but didn’t Minority Report end up having a decidedly non-Noir ending? I remember liking the movie until the reveal which undid the entire idea of the movie.

I...I... don’t know what to say to that. Seth is funny, but really? GQ had some of the greatest actors of this generation in it. I’m mean fucking Rickman was incredible.

That was a “pilot” joke. Easy for test audiences to understand. 

If you haven’t seen it, I’d HIGHLY recommend Other Space. It has a more Star Trek feel then this does and was good damn hilarious. I think it’s on Youtube. How it didn’t get picked up by a network is beyond me, but knowing networks I’m also not surprised.

I like Seth McFarlane, but I don’t like broad humored sitcom Seth McFarlane. This feels like either a) Fox is letting him do this vanity project on a microscopically short leash or b) Fox sunk a bunch of money into this and wants his guidance.

I’m legitimately contemplating how much time and effort I want to put in to a “How the fuck did Fox not just pay 1/10th of what this cost and pick up Other Space from Yahoo TV?” rant that will point out how much better the first 5 seconds of Other Space is compared to this entire teaser that got this show the green…
