That was a great scene! I remember that scene! Even if gif form you can see Nog’s struggle. And from what I remember both Sisko and Quark disapproved for Jake & Nog’s friendship and this scene changed how Sisko thought of and treated Nog going forward.

That’s right - I checked out of DS9 after Worf showed up so everyone’s fate is a little blurry.

It’s been a while since I watched this show, but it became my favorite starting episode 1. It was really cool to see O’Brien on his own and he would have been a perfect main character, but damn is Sisko just so well developed.
