I didn’t knock the actors. I simply said that Hiddleston and Bridges were brilliant. Bridges took a “villain of the week” role and made him a convincing father figure to Tony.

Doom is sorely missed in the MCU. But I don’t think you can do Doom justice without the FF.

I think Marvel just needs better actors for their big screen villains and to let the villains be more powerful. Hiddleston is an incredible actor who brought a lot to Loki. Jeff Bridges is a G.D. miracle worker in IM 1.Everyone else is just very generic.

The underlying question is if the A-10 is performing the necessary job, why get rid of the it especially if there is no replacement? The A-10 isn’t being asked to dog fight a Mig-31.

In my opinion Civil War the movie is much better than Civil War the comic arc.

Haven’t seen the film yet, but in the trailers Tony successfully sums up his argument in one sentence while Cap’s argument is a grimace.

Nice to hear, although I’m little concerned that the main conflict of the film will be glossed over as it was in AoU. I’m also concerned about the comedy angle - you’re saying we have RDJ, Rudd, and Holland all quipping and punning at the same time?
