So weird that Gunn gets fired for making jokes about fucking kids when Bryan Singer gets to keep his job when he actually fucked kids.

I think it’s the Double Down.

That said, he was kind of robbed on Argo. He at least should have been nominated. It’s actually extremely rare that a film win Best Picture and not even get a Director nomination, so I understand people’s confusion.

That's like saying "Every American child is supposed to take a measles vaccine, but America is a developed country with low measles rates!"

I totally prefer the US ending to The Descent. The depressing coda revealing she was still in the cave is unnecessary and another one of those annoying "the escape was just a dream" tropes. (The only movie I'll let get away with that is Brazil.) The US ending closes the movie on a good scare. Besides, it's worse to

I actually prefer the US cut of The Descent. I've seen both. The ending was not reshot for the US version, it just removes the coda where you find out she was just dreaming her escape. It closes on a great "boo" moment in the US version. I also don't like the "it was all just a dream" endings. The only film that

The only benefit to the theater here is cheaper shipping. It's the studios that purchase the prints (or in this case hard drives). The studios provide the prints to the theaters. The theaters return the hard drives to the studios when the film's run is complete.

Dexter did have an excellent opening credit sequence. Too bad the show itself, even at its best, was nowhere near as good.

Image broken. :(

"You want to make a movie about a crew of British spelunkers who find themselves deep underground at the mercy of highly-evolved, carnivorous bat-people? Set it in West Virginia! "

A major reason Murphy's death is so graphic in the original is because we're barely introduced to the character before he's chasing down Clarence's gang. It had to be as brutal as possible and we had to see the bad guys reveling in it to ensure we don't like them. Also, how is he supposed to be resurrected if he's

It looks like the tall buildings in the background are composited in. One of them is Toronto's CN Tower.

It's Tehran.

Doesn't solve the problem of the cropped image.

"Watch the movie in the theatre if you want to see it as it was meant."
