I got so lucky and stumbled across moonlighter in the netflix app a few months back! It’s an excellent mobile rogue-like with catchy music, mild management sim aspects, and satisfying combat. The control scheme blends idle-ish combat with point-and-click movement that works really well on mobile (even on an iphone

the world of luxury keycaps blows my mind.. i’m not sure if you’ve checked out anything from Dwarf Factory but i would gladly (continue to) throw alllll of my money at them. i love all the tiny little dioramas!

Also came here to mention that the soundtrack was created by Japanese Breakfast, and is incredible.

Now playing

Omggg smash ‘em, rip ‘em is such a jam.. I love the combo of Aerith and Tifa during this part of the game, and the way their themes get smashed together in this tune is perfect

Please tell me that there are 3440 x 1440 versions of these available for download somewhere!

Did anyone else other than me watch this animated series? Retitled in the U.S. as “Is it wrong to try and pick up girls in a dungeon?”. Eye roll.

Midgard?? with a D? omg how could you

Is anyone else wondering how XCOM2 will run on the Switch? My PS4 struggles with it when there’s a lot going on, and it seems pretty common from what I see online.

Hahaha was Half-Life: Blue Shit intentional?? Cmon it wasn’t that bad !

Yesss This whole KEXP session is incredible and is what made me a fan of them in the first place! Diving woman is also a huge jam.

Home - Matt Quentin is the background jam

So weird you’d mention this.. I was just poking around the beginning of FF8 on Switch last night and found an explanation for the game’s origins. In the beginning classroom before you go to the fire cavern with Quistis, the computer at your desk has a section just for it.

I’d like to put money on how long before a video shot in this room pops up on a website rhyming with shmornhub.

What a killer background tune.

Excellent photo.

Thank you so much for this (several year-old) article! Gametee’s website has some amazing, original finds on it... a Tifa’s 7th Heaven tin sign!?!

Tourist trap or not.. the robot restaurant was a blast, and I would gladly drink 10 more lightbulbs filled with booze there again.
Also “Read My Mind” by The Killers was shot in this area, and it’s amazing.

I’m crying laughing out loud at all of the responses to this comment.. Thank you for spilling my morning coffee.

Excellent post.. my counter-point would be only to mention the terrible feeling of being forced to look up builds online so your end-game character can remain relevant.

Battlefield 2143....?
