Part of living in a society is having to do things you don’t 100% agree with for the good of everyone else. Getting vaccines. Wearing a mask when you get sick. Wearing your seatbelt. Wearing a goddamned helmet when you are riding a motorcycle.

Paying insurance on multiple vehicles when I can only drive one at a time.

Driving on the road with other people.

In 1995, Chrysler showed us the Atlantic concept and learned that the retro-future style was popular. They took that lesson and pooped out the PT Cruiser.

Late-3rd gen Chevy Caprice. Peak 80's land yacht, but if you see one that hasn’t been driven into the ground, they’re really rather handsome cars. On top of that, they were GREAT to drive (that’s why police departments and cab companies clung to them for so long).

I’ll keep it simple: SAAB. The entire brand needs a restomod, especially the Pre-GM era cars. Favorite picks would be the Saab Sonett and Saab 900 Turbo

Late C3 Corvettes - fantastic looking hot garbage. Built in decent numbers, so you likely won’t get too much pushback on improving a few.

The Javelins is a “good” idea, but this is better...

Jeep Hurricane - Who didn’t want a 2 engine 4 wheel steer Wrangler with 500hp and could crab walk like no other. With no engines I can’t image these things would ever actually leave the dealer service department so I’m assuming that had a lot to do with it staying a concept but man, it would be so cool....

everyone wanted this

I got to go with the Nissan IDx

The 328 Hommage was bonkers in all the right ways

Chevy HHR. The PT Cruiser had already been around for several years and the nu-retro craze was already dropping off and getting tired by the time the HHR showed up, looking like shit and wearing its best PT Cruiser cosplay.

I mean, if you can’t verify the authenticity, it’s not valid, that’s the whole fucking point.

She says pilot FOUR times. And then he calls her a stewardess which is still not a correct term for flight attendant.

Trucks with flags.

Haven’t seen any specific mention of the Mustang yet. Has the Mustang crowd finally grown out of doing burnouts at parking lot exits? Or have they moved on to another car?

I’m just happy to see a Crown Vic still in service by the PD.  Look at that ol’ Panther still hanging in there.

You mean other than the Youabian Puma? It’s the de-facto answer to this question...

There’s that adage: “The two happiest days in a boat owner’s life are when he buys the boat and then the day that he sells it.”
