The Catholic church is pushing for more restrictive abortion laws in Spain and it seems that they are going to get what they want, the church is publishing books about how women must be submisive and they are still against gay weddings and birth control.

I know several Catholic people who where born out of wedlock, and they are all baptized, have the first communion and confirmation, and some were married in a Catholic church. I'm an atheist, and not a fan of the hyerarchy of the Catholic church, but your local priest was a moron and a jerk

I've read read scientific articles where some menstruating women tested that and no, menstrual blood doesn't attract bears. They don't care about it at all. Food, on the other hand, or strange women (menstruating or not) that want to play with them, are some things that deserve to be investigated.

Oh, yes. And those flavored condoms? The peppermint ones? Never use those as normal condoms. The sensation is...interesting. I heard it somewhere. Not that I know personally, of course. Coff, coff.

Hey, this is the advice of the Spanish police for preventing being raped, too. They have advices like "don't put your name on the mailbox, only the initial" , "close the curtains at night" and "don't go into the elevator if there is a man inside"

No, this story is a different one. That was a Panamanian woman with cocaine in her breast implants. This was a Venezuelan woman with cocaine in her breast implants

If nothing changes, Spain will have similar abortion laws in a couple of months. Because, in the words of our minister of justice, banning the abortion of a severely malformed fetus is protecting the weak . But judging by other policies of the government, cutting out economic help for people with disabilities is not.

Oh, I see. Then, it's not different. I was confused because the article mentioned underwear, too.

In some countries, you can't try on underwear (you can try on bras or undershirts, but not panties or underpants) and you can't return them. I'm surprised that you can do it in the USA.

Some bulls, when they are considered "brave" enough, are pardoned as tribute to their bravery and they live for a long time, but I think that that is not very common.

Most people in Spain are not interested or oppose bullfighting, and is banned in certain parts of Spain. Others wanted to ban it but the central administration protected it as a "cultural festivity". Bullfighting is not a tradition in every part of Spain.

I would say that you can do whatever you want with your body, dangerous for you or not, as soon as that doesn't put other people in danger, but your religious rights doesn't extend to decide over the body of your children, if those beliefs are harmful for them. I'm not sure in the USA, but in my country, somebody can

Not really, there are issues that are exclusive of bisexuals. For example, refugee claims for bisexuals are less successful than for homosexuals or other groups

Not all fairy tales are like that, and the modern and popular versions of fairy tales (Perrault, Grimm and the Disney versions) are not the only fairy tales that exist. I know stories about female werewolves, about the daughter of the ogre that saves the soldier, about the fights between evil witches and good witches,

Not really. In the same way that there are horrible ads in the USA, there are horrible ads in Spain, or Portugal, that doesn't mean that saying something like "women only like shoes" is going to gain you any simpathy.

Is all of Brazil just a Portuguese episode of Two And A Half Men?

More than John XXIII? The Second Vatican Council supposed an enormous change in the Catholic Church, even if it wasn't all that could be. I has read a lot of articles about the cool things that the Pope says, but I don't see any changes. I still see the bishops in my country pushing for power and money for the church,

When I read the Spanish translation of the book, I thought that Bagheera, Kaa and all the snakes where females (panther and snake are feminine names in Spanish, and -a is a common ending in girl's names). When I discovered that they were males, as an adult, I felt very stupid, but I asked some friends and they were as

I'm spanish and I'm very pale. Lots of people in Spain a Portugal are pale, especially in the North. And there are blondes and even redheads too. Not a lot of them, and usually not so blond as her but there are some. And in Brazil there are a lot of people of German descent.
