Lately, I’ve just not been giving any F’s to difficulty settings. I just set them to Easy, so I can actually enjoy the game without getting hung up on dying. If a game ends up being entertaining enough, then I’ll usually make a second run with the difficulty turned up. With the scope and attention that these kinds of

So this is not very Dark Souls-like? Because I really don’t care for the genre, and I’ll take almost anything else this could be over it. While I’d like some challenge in open world (Like the recent Tomb Raider games), I’m very okay with a game that isn’t too hard. AC: Origins had constant stories and the world

I disliked this review. It feels so clinical.

Honestly it sounds fucking great. It’s beautiful with engaging swordplay. I couldn’t give two shits that its not “Samurai Social discussion 2020". I wanna kill dudes with swords and see pretty stuff

Don’t base your opinion of this review.

its all about the illusion, all FF games are linear but you have to shroud it in a way where we feel free, FF X for example is as bad as FF XIII in terms of straight line minimaps and a railroad but doesn’t feel anything like as linear simply because you can port round and there is a reason to do so.

Huh? Vikings is just a generic term for Norse people from that era. Specifically people that traveled on long boats to new lands.

Play the last two AC games... it’ll play like that. Saved you some wondering :P

I’m on chapter 14 and completely never remembered that Punishment mode had an automatic parry until I read this article haha... Shock Troopers I just let them dodge to build up ATB then blasted them with Fire spells. Reno I used normal block which lets me do a normal combo + Braver to knock down his health. I realize

While there’s certainly room for improvement in the sequels (doing a better job of explaining how all the parts fit together, for one), I love the combat in Final Fantasy 7 Remake so goddamn much. It’s definitely gonna be the standard by which I measure future ARPGs for quite some time to come. Particularly if the

Lol. Hence the “Grow up.” Nice chat, pup.

I’m sure you can figure out competition was the intent but whatever.

Right... people who make difficult games should make them easier for whiney pups; chefs who specialize in spicy foods should tone it down for those with sensitive taste buds, and people who run fitness completions should make them more accessible for people who aren’t into fitness.

What a whiney person. “I’m not good at this so the devs are stupid. Grow up.”

Stances are so cool, I love how much control it gives you.

thats...a little extreme. I stink at fps games, so i dont play them and generally dont make a fuss that hey are being made. the gaming ecosystem is pretty broad these days, and i have yet to feel that one game being made impedes another. this came out, even with fortnight existing. so i dunno, this seems excessive.

The reviewer beat the game in 40 hours, not 100s of hours. And, this may surprise you, but there’s more than one type of gamer, and that’s why they make more than one type of game.

Heather beat the game in 40ish hours, so definitely not “100s of hours.” And there are a ton of shorter games to play. And, as far as I can tell, Animal Crossing will be much more of a time sink than most games. So that complaint goes right out the window.

If it doesn’t seem like you have options, it’s because you’re

Oh come on, man.  There are plenty of games out there for people like us.  Lets not pretend that the soulsborne games are the only game in town.  The creation of this game genre is literally a response to the fact that until Demon’s Souls was released games had spent a decade catering to specifically your tastes.  The

I played through multiple betas over the past year - and from my own limited experience I’ll say that it definitely feels like “Nioh 2- Nioh Harder”. It immediately felt like I was jumping right back into some unreleased expansion of the first one. If you loved the first game - and it’s among my top favorite games
