@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: On Windows, I go for GOMPlayer first, then MPC, then VLC... in my experience GOMPlayer has the most codecs built-in. I really like how MPC can be portable, though.

I must clarify: Best meaning most easily usable, free, least memory-hogging, and most usable formats available out-of-box (or otherwise I guess. Third-party codecs are annoying to install but work well too)
What is the best video player?
Very interesting - I wish this would be how ImgBurn works by itself though!
"(My ideal would be Android running on the iPhone 4, which is actually possible, eventually.)"
Android for sure. I love the ability to use my phone as a webcam, that pretty much won the cake for me. I'm currently using iPhone though because my G1 is quite slow.
The question, Lifehackers.
I use both. I have a 16gb thumbdrive on my keychain I have my car key on, so when I don't have Internet access I use that. Otherwise, I use Dropbox.
@Bluestump86: I should clarify - I've found things, such as ypops, that do not work for me. I'm currently trying the Webmail extension again for Thunderbird, but I fear that too is outdated.
@Bluestump86: What KhaiJB said ^
I've been trying to get this working for years. I figure it's time to ask LifeHacker.
It will be interesting to see how well this fares against Xmarks.
@sapperhedge and @sapperhedge: Ah, that makes sense. @rolltimer: I wasn't implying you should nap at work :P
Great article. I actually -want- to try sleeping more tonight because of this. I think my big issue is the sitting-in-front-of-a-screen syndrome.
Just use the Dropbox Public folder for uploads. Problem solved and no extra third-party software is needed! :)
@Miaxi: I'll check it out. Thanks!
@Buster Friendly: So really we need to wait for Gawker to release an API. Is that correct?
@Miaxi: Will a simple 'sudo apt-get install ubuntutweak' find this?
I was just wondering about this recently. I can't wait to get home and try it, thanks Lifehacker!
Have there been any mobile (Android/iPhone specifically) apps/frontends for Lifehacker? I think that would be a really good thing to implement, along with a Lifehacker IRC channel.
