The airport FBO (KEWB) I worked at had one of these stationed in our hanger.
Ford Windsor small block V8. It got used in everything Ford made from trucks to Mustangs and muscle cars to GT40s. I don't think Ford had a rear wheel drive model aside from the Pinto from the early 1960's through the early 90's that didn't get this engine in some form at some point.
