I think it’s basically a cost-saving measure intended to let you still access online features on the go.

I’m hoping for Zelda at launch, but if the rumors are true and it’s not going to make it for the launch, I hope that when it does come out they release a Zelda-themed Switch. I’ve only owned Zelda 3DS’s and I’d like to continue that tradition lol

That’s a way better name than Star... I’m surprised that’s not the theoretical name that’s going around.

I don’t really get this logic. All of these critiques apply just as strongly to Trump than to Clinton... some even more so. There’s this criticism of Clinton as a Wall-Street servant, but we had no reason to think that Trump wouldn’t have that same problem. He’s gone a step further, and has included actual Goldman

I was thinking that too. And how long can one person play videogames literally as their profession and still remain clueless? So the premise could probably hold water for... a year, maybe? Maybe two? Then the host would, at that point, logically be fairly familiar with videogames, at least enough that they’d have to

Here’s the thing about the wall... the number of illegal immigrants that enter America by just walking through the wilderness is such a small percentage that it doesn’t even justify the cost of installing flimsy fencing along the border. Most illegal immigrants enter the country legally to work as cheap labor for

I don’t know linguistics well enough to say that it’s definitely okay to start the sentence with “isn’t”, but for casual conversation it’s acceptable. I’m not sitting here writing a term paper for English class.

Yeah, that’s them.

Isn’t there a pair of droid assassins in the Star Wars comic that are essentially Evil R2-D2 and Evil C-3PO?

“I don’t trust Hilary because she’s too corrupt. Instead let me vote for the guy who is constantly being sued for his shady business practices, and who has literally thousands of conflicts of interest”

That’s something I’ve noticed with a lot of people of this attitude. They get angry at the idea of people demanding a small, private “safe space” where they can avoid being confronted with language that upsets them, but they demand that the rest of the world changes itself so that they don’t have to be confronted with

That would be bad as a fake Daily Show bit.

A lot of it has to do, honestly, with the fact that Republicans are much more religious than the Dems.

I find something kind of nuts about how you have Zarya in the header image but she’s not included in any of the teams you listed

I honestly think that the only reason SFZ was a WiiU game and not a Switch game is because they couldn’t quite get the game to work without the control scheme they developed. I really think that’s why the WiiU has gotten so little support in the past year... Nintendo was mostly pulling away from multi-screen play, so

Boy, Trump’s plan to piss of China would be a lot less scary if there was any sign that he had anything actually planned ahead of time to make up for taking a sledge hammer to one of America’s largest trade partners (other than secure property deals for the Trump brand in Taiwan).

In the same way that the article mentions Red-Pillers gladly jumping on the Alt-Right bandwagon, even if key elements of their ideology are incompatible, the only important part is that this is a group that gladly accepts and promotes hate, and that using the term upsets people they define as “weak.” So you get this

Well, you’re always surrounded by a bright red outline from the enemies’ perspective anyway, so it hardly matters what you’re wearing, really.

This reminds me of when I was in High School and I had to write a report with like... a 5 page requirement, so suddenly everything I said had three adjectives attached to it, and I adjusted the font size and paragraph spacing to make it juuuuuust a bit bigger, but not enough for the teacher to notice.

I agree... if a comic is mostly non-fanservice, but has one really obvious fanservice moment every 8 episodes or so, I find it jarring. I feel like, if you’re going to go that route, then it should be at least something that happens often enough for it to legitimately feel like part of the series’ aesthetic.
