Well, the 3DS is the highest selling of all current mainstream gaming platforms. It, potentially, has more than 4 times the install base of the Wii U (although the number could be skewed by people upgrading).

I don’t doubt that it happens, but I think it’s more likely to just be stubborn refusal.

I think a big part of the change was the use of Flash becoming so common. Flash sped up animating drastically in a number of ways, but it couldn’t handle character designs that were too complex. So even though a lot of shows don’t use Flash animation, the current aesthetic and learning style for animation is heavily

Although I doubt it will have any effect on his approval rating. I don’t know how many comedy-news shows have interviewed Trump supporters and fed them fake, even more offensive and embarrassing Trump quotes than the things he’s actually said, and they just support him more.

That’s the worst thing that could happen right now. It would just make him a martyr and strengthen his insane point about mexico being full of criminals. What would actually help is if Trump shows up, then totally embarrasses himself of his own accord.

That’s pretty interesting! I remember that’s part of why the dude from Fez went insane, since he couldn’t afford to patch the game, but he was constantly being harassed online about the bugs in the game

I think too many companies have an attitude of “just patch it later”. I think gamers are getting less patience for that attitude, as we’re starting to see more games get ridiculed if they release in a buggy format, even if the bugs are mostly fixed by a day one patch.

I think the myths and legends ideas is probably the most accurate way to summarize it. There’s certain tales which are largely accepted as the main canon, but they can be used in a ton of different stories and settings without necessarily having to give some kind of long backstory to justify it.

I believe the official canon is that Mario and crew are “actors” who take on different roles depending on what the games demand (at least, that’s how Miyamoto described them in an interview a few years back).

I actually liked my original DS more than the DS Lite in terms of how comfortably it fits in my hands. I have fairly large hands that made a blocky system like the DS Lite uncomfortable to hold over longer periods of time... but ultimately the better backlight and stronger colors made the DS Lite my preferred system.

I feel like this list was more interesting because it didn’t just focus on aesthetic changes, but made sure to mention what features were added or removed to these redesigns as part of why they’re listed.

I had a friend tell me about it beforehand... I was a little disappointed, but on the other hand I doubt I would have figured it out if he hadn’t told me.

I’m sorry, but Chrono Cross is a direct sequel in the sense that it follows Chrono Trigger’s story and includes the canon ending for Trigger within its story. I feel like the game would be much stronger if it actually was a franchise sequel in the same way that FF2 is to FF1, but it’s bogged down by basically undoing

So... what? You enjoy the fact that people can get paid to put in little to no work? I can get why they find that funny, but I don’t get why that’s funny to you. If you go to a restaurant, do you find it funny and endearing if they offer some kind of “best burger in town”, then sell an uncooked burger on raw dough? Do

Just because someone has an excuse or tradition to lean on doesn’t make doing something dishonest or stupid any more valid.

Being wise asses who use click bait to gain artificial page views. If they weren’t using these as lazy clickbait, they would put “underexplained Lists” in the actual title. But they’re not going to do that because they know people aren’t going to click on the article if they know that’s what it is beforehand.

It’s a thing where writers get to turn in an article with no research or writing, and get paid as though they had actually put effort into their work because the underexplained lists get a solid number of hits thanks to readers going to the comments section to debate them.

Honestly, this seems pretty standard for how Final Fantasy games have run in the past. The games give you an exploration and freedom to explore the world, but usually by the end you have every reason to just go from point a to point b without running all over the place.

I think it deserves a spot on the list for basically being innovative in a way that the N64 controller was trying to be, but I understand the problems people had with it. It worked almost magically for first party games, but for a lot of multiplatform games it was a mess... I recall most people I know bought the

This is the year that killed Prince and R2-D2... fuck this stupid year.
