Like... just a re-release with all the DLC? Hmm... if they included all the modes from both WiiU and 3DS it might be a pretty worthwhile purchase.

I voted Marie earlier, but I didn’t actually join in on the Splatfest, because I’m so out of practice that I knew I would just add more losses to team Marie.
I agree... Splatoon could be a killer app for the NX launch. Pair that with the NX version of Zelda and they’re going to get a huge boost to their initial install base.
Oh man... I had a blast with Ultimate Alliance 1 when it came out... I was in college at the time, so my roommates and I ended up playing through it together... So it was Deadpool, Dr. Strange, and Spiderman taking on the world with a rotating AI in the 4th wheel picking up slack.
Ah, well critical flop is probably the wrong term, but I meant it in the sense that general opinion of the game is extremely low. It sold well enough, though less than Nintendo had hoped for. But it’s still mostly derided and you can’t bring it up anywhere without people (like me) bringing up how bad it was.
I hope that they’re not unrealistic enough to go that extreme... but I definitely agree that, unless this is a huge smash hit, we shouldn’t expect any new Metroid game in a long time. I think a moderate success would have them keep the franchise on the back burner, but middling to low sales will just have them shelve…
It’s probably not fair, but I’m never as impressed by a Transformers toy that doesn’t transform, no matter how good it looks...
True, but the important thing is that it failed at all. Metroid has never been Nintendo’s biggest money maker... but it always had a place at Nintendo for its devoted fanbase and critical accomplishments... Super Metroid has been considered the absolute best video game of all time by more than one reputable games…
That has definitely been my concern with Federation Force as soon as it was announced... after the critical flop of Other:M I think that Nintendo isn’t confident in Samus and Metroid, so I worry that this game is meant to be a sort of “test” to see if the franchise still has legs. And if it doesn’t sell, it could mean…
It’s a money thing... they know that some people are going to buy two copies (one to leave in box, one to open and use). Lol and some people are just going to take their 3DS to the store and get everything for free if they let them
Well, if you find a Shovel Knight amiibo you can... the developers asked specifically not to have that strip on their Amiibo, since they knew it was going to have a limited run compared to the Nintendo-owned characters and they wanted collectors who don’t open their amiibo to be able to enjoy it.
