They are vastly majority male because most women did not go into Political Science until very recently. They still only make up about 25% of the student body, and not all of those are going to go into politics. Some will get that degree and then move on to be lawyers.

TL;DR - The event itself doesn’t actually bother anyone, and actually sounds like a fun way to celebrate one of America’s strong female icons. But you are absolutely not in the moral right by saying that people can’t be upset by this. It’s discrimination, plain and simple. Harmless, but not morally defensible.

? There are also female only groups all over this country as well. Just saying, if there were to be a male only screening of a movie SOMEONE would have shit to say about it just like these few men are doing. If you refuse to recognize that then there is no point in continuing a discourse here.

That being said, I do not think it is fair to condemn those who are complaining about it, I mean imagine a “men only” screening of John Wick 2... there would certainly be some pissed off women calling it sexist etc... so just be careful you’re not throwing…

There no need for women’s only screening of the movie, at least for the reasons you point out. The only reason why this one exists is because its wonder woman, and girl power and all that shit. Its cool, do it. who cares.

Um, I go to normal screenings of superhero movies every time they come out, and the audience is always composed of both men and women.

I’m relaxed and chill, i don’t give a flying rats ass about the screening, the women going are probably going to have a bomb ass time. What I do care about is the double standard. If there was a men only screening of a movie, people like you would scream bitch and moan about it, and then cheer when the theater cancels…
