I’ve never understood this as an argument against manuals. My leg does not get tired, nor do I find shifting from neutral, 1st, and 2nd in heavy traffic somehow troublesome. It actually gives you something to do. Being in traffic in an automatic is infinitely more boring.

If your leg gets tired driving in traffic your doing it wrong.
