I watched Richard Dormer play the sheriff in the great show Fortitude. Now I recognize his voice anywhere. It's lovely. I enjoyed hearing Stephan Dillane (Stannis) speak as well.

I thought they did it on purpose and paid Wire and the Stranglers beforehand? Guess not

Advice: Don't read these comments and expect to find clarity.

Chucky Doll!

What about Phillip's son who came to America to try & meet him? Are we done with that guy, now that he's had dinner with his uncle's family? If the Jennings returned home maybe something would happen to further that story line. As of now, I guess I hope the uncle likes him enough to become his "father figure."

Is this it, or will there be more episodes? I mean soon- already filmed ones, not maybe ones, in however many more years.

Good review. You've articulated what I could not. After all this time, the scenes of surreal dread are definitely the less-remembered parts of a show with so many quirky characters and quotable moments of black humor. I remember being disappointed back in the day that there wasn't a clear answer to the mysteries of

who was the guy under the ice when Cheryl was drowning?

I like the boring Archie character. Let everyone & everything else around him be the dynamic drama. It's like the film Barry Lyndon. Ryan O'Neal, as the title character is as charismatic as a piece of toast in this amazing film. Director Stanley Kubrick later said that this was exactly the reason he cast the actor. He

He matured early- like Alex from "A Clockwork Orange!"

I didn't even know there was a sister Jughead in the comic books. I read them a long time ago, before Archie was a hipster. However, his band did have a #1 hit on the radio…

What about Jughead's sister, Jellybean (mentioned by him in previous episode)? That's one of my favorite things from this great, guilty-pleasure show. I don't want them to introduce Jughead's sister as a character (if he is homeless, she's prob'ly a ward of the state or in foster care anyway), I just love that her

I thought that they usually gave the award winning actor the envelope with their name on it that says they won, as a souvenir when they hand them the award?

Enter SoundMan!

Shades of the film Eating Raoul?

Just to put it out there, a book of short stories that I really enjoyed last year was "Knockout" by John Jodzio. My fave short story collection since George Saunders' "Tenth of December."

I just watched the 1st episode of Planet Earth 2- amazing! Spoiler Alert: Big City lights + storm drains + baby turtles = heartache. And Matthew McConaughey as a horny sloth is brilliant casting!

WHY?

Natasha Lyonne is in the cast credits episode 6. Yay!

Oh yeah, there's Rushmore & The Royal Tennenbaums. And Dazed and Confused, too. Jackie Brown, Velvet Goldmine (if it was the original artists doing those songs), and a movie called Moonlight Mile. Hmmm…it seems as though I like music from a certain era. Oh, you pretty things.
