You know the real problem with voter apathy?

I’m not a fan of the series (Tom Cruise is just so Tom Cruise in everything), so I was dragged to this by my husband. Loved the action scenes, but I was LOLing at all the exposition that was slipped into dialogue.

I don’t agree with that at all. The indirect description of him isn’t her being sly or coy. As a non-lawyer, she would be worrying about whether she could name him directly or not in her account.

kinda diminishes her stance and makes her original statement suspect.

Uh. I think people would FLOCK to the movie if they cast a trans actor. You clearly underestimate the buying power of the LGBTQIA community.

So, that essentially creates a self-fulfilling prophecy. Productions won’t hire minority actors because pretty much all of them aren’t A-list. Minority actors can’t become A-list because A-list productions won’t hire them. Rinse and repeat.

Yes! Visually and conceptually, I think Sorry to Bother You will be this decade’s Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. A film that will be studied in film school, for sure.

I’m really bothered by how much $$$$ contributes to performance and winning now. When Monique brought it up or earlier when Chi Chi talked about it as a disadvantage, everyone acted like those queens were just making excuses.

I honestly don’t know how this happened, and not that it changed anything that I noticed, but my middle school “Project Self-Respect” classes were VERY clear that harassment is defined by how the PERSON BEING HARASSED feels about it. The rest was bullshit abstinence only crap, but even a broken clock I guess.
