Disclaimer: I’m obviously not blaming Kathy Griffin for this.

What is the tank size though? My Sportwagen TDI allowed me to get 600 miles per tank. Even on highways I don’t see 400 in my GTI. Usually under 350. It can get around 32mpg while cruising near 80 but the TDI got about 10 better at that speed.

FWIW, my gasoline Golf looks the same as yours, gets 34mpg while going 80mph, and is slightly(?) better for the environment.

My thoughts are exactly the same. It’s been exactly two months since I sold mine back (also a 2010 and a stick) and it was the most perfect car for my situation as I also have a very long commute. I also used mine to tow a teardrop trailer and even then I never saw MPG below 35.

There is actually a recall on these fuel pump right now on some Golf. I know mine is affected. If you got your fixed and it’s part of the recall, you should be able to claim the repairs as long as you still have the bills for it.

I recently discovered it and it is wonderful and a breath of fresh air from the usual car shows. Really, Mr. Torchinsky nails it. Mr China will sit down on the show and go over step by step what is needed to fix a particular piece of a car. This clip is a great example of his work: how to replace the drive motor on an

Dear Everyone Who Now Thinks That They Want An Old MG,

Correction: everybody behind has to slow down because of whomever it is behind this guy that overreacts and brakes when they don’t need to. A gap is a gap, and people who use all of the available road - as in a proper zipper merge - help the greater good by maintaining the flow and keeping these backups short.

Meh, life isn’t safe. Disqualifying an older car because of a safety is the type of mentality that has us so close to self-driving cars. Cars today feel numb. They have no soul. I’m not sure what retro design you have been in, but I can tell you the Mustang and Challenger do not at all feel like their classic counter

Doesn’t he already have a cool, reliable ride that he can cruise around California in?

Reducing pollution is always an honorable goal, and we have reduced pollution from most all fossil fuel-burning sources ca. 90-95% over the years. Eliminating that last few percent gets asymptotically more expensive, especially when the vast majority of the rest of the world has done nothing and plans to do nothing

Man, if your comment is to shit on another man’s pride and joy, you need to step up your comment game.

No, no, no, no, no, no.

As a VW fan, I have nothing to say but awful things about the MKIV.

"A great example of this is how banks have been accused of saddling minorities with disproportionally high interest rates for cars compared to rates for white borrowers with similar credit histories. While most finance units haven't admitted to undertaking in these practices, they've spent around $135 million settling

I used to own a Mazda 626 with oscillating air vents operated by a "swing" button. I miss that feature and believe all modern cars should have it.
