Butler made an incredible play. The Seahawks made a stupid play call. The things are not mutually exclusive.
If it took Butler's interception to highlight the abject stupidity of the decision to pass in this situation, then it also requires a Seahawks pass to show how smart Butler was to read the play and how fast he…
2014 hot take: "Sherman should stop his thuggish behavior!"
Gronk is such a jokester
Does Metallica count? I like their odds for playing somewhere between 2024-2034

So the Pats portray the goody two shoes hypocritical nature of the NFL. Rich white guys with goofy ass haircuts who snide and cheat and make sure their buddies get in the way. However, they are amazing with their roster decisions.
Time to start a Change.org petition to make sure his replacement is named Kenneth.
That won't happen, but the Cubs should suck it up and do an Ernie Banks Day and have one.
Tim, they were the best. The best doubleheader was when the 1993 Phillies won the 2nd game at 445 in the morning. Man I miss those great times.
This year at least, Cubs could hold a doubleheader to honor #14 and still make more than enough in merch sales to beat the box office.
I saw it suggested on Twitter tonight that the Cubs play a double header on September 17, the date of Banks' debut in 1953. Cool idea, they could do that every year. Probably would have to be a day-night DH though because owners aren't giving up a game's worth of ticket revenue.
I miss double headers. Went to a ton at Shea during one of the suck periods 1978-1982. Participated in 2 Banner Days and was there during seat cushion night. Was sitting in the orange seats, so I left with 6 of them.
Yep, and they were fun too. Never to be seen again. Like Ernie.
Are you kidding? MLB owners will never voluntarily give up a dime. One-ticket doubleheaders are gone forever. Hope you had the chance to attend one, I did, as a kid. Twi-night!
The Cubs should play a doubleheader on opening day in his honor.
Today's swing looks different but Mr. Banks did some shit back in the day that are cornerstones of the evolution of the swing.
This makes me sad.
