I used to do something similar in college - I would sit out in the yard for 20 minutes to meditate after classes before work. Although I never really got the meditation part right, I did notice that I would end up taking 20 minute semi-conscious naps and would wake up on time and completely refreshed.

Anyone know of an equivalent for XP? I have been looking for something like this for a long time.

@markyMark: Stickies 6.0b allows you to create electronic post it notes, which you can leave on your desktop or attach to specific files/folder - so they only appear when those windows are open.

Does anybody know how to copy recorded TV shows off a comcast DVR box and onto a PC?

Are there any apps like this for PC?

BEWARE: I have been using GDS for a long time now, and this latest release had an annoying bug - with GDS 5.0 beta installed my right-click menus in outlook stopped working. Had to do a system restore and switch back to an old release to get my Outlook functionality back. Hope they fix this before full release.

I was using this powertoy for awhile, but decided that it wasnt worth it. It is slower than the standard alt-tab, it doesnt show minimized windows, and occasionally it stalls out.

Similar to Jimmer, I created a folder on my desktop called "clutter". Any file I download goes in the clutter folder. If I later determine that the program or file is of some value, I will move it to a better location. In essence, my clutter folder serves as a type of pergatory for anything I download until I can
