While, as you said, generally speaking that is the case, it is worth considering whether or not it is harmful. I would argue that it can be. It is complicated a bit further by the fact that the author is female, and commenting about males. Since she is not a white male, there is still some level of separation there.

There's no grounds for that sort of thing.

Corporations do not give a shit about their customers, and will do anything to get out of situations and agreements that do not provide them with the maximum benefit.

My computer uses an E350 APU. I never have to worry about how it stacks up in benchmarks...

I grow tired of these jokes. They soil the reputation of the other commenters.

Right, that's more what I'm getting at. Not a Windows box (as an example) that streams your game to your client / terminal computer, but a networked attached hardware solution that provides access to the hardware, making your "active" computer think that your big, burly GPU stack hidden away in some closet is

I like the concept a lot, but in some ways I also hate it. This makes great sense for a car and car-attached/included items (trailer, equipment lock-up, etc) since the whole thing is mobile. If they have your car keys, they can take your car and deal with unlocking the rest on their own terms.

I would be much more interested in this as a device that I can purchase, not as a service I must pay for. It would be pretty interesting to have my GPU box running tucked away somewhere, and any time I want to play a PC game, I can just go to a networked machine in my home and get a consistent level of graphics

You ignored the second line of the definition. Here you go:

Your words, not mine. I did not state it was wholly the fault of men. It is not, just as racism is not wholly the fault of whites. You yourself are helping to perpetrate it, by acting like you are incapable of it.

Per the definition, look at Merriam Webster. That's what I'm going by.

Have to agree with all the posts saying that the issue is the cheap s-biner.

Has every single white person punished you? I don't know you. I haven't ever met you. I didn't even know you were Black until you said so, and that knowledge doesn't really change anything.

To claim that racism can not be directed towards the "dominant" group is to admit that you couldn't give a shit about true equality. No, we aren't there yet, it may be a long time, and sadly it may never happen, but we most certainly never will be when people hold the view that the "dominant" group isn't deserving of

Whew! Now I'm relieved. I forgot that stripping people of their individuality is fine, so long as you don't think they will care. Silly me, I was just positive that that was practically the definition of racism. My bad.

I was thinking that the Alan Rickman slow-mo tea time was the "thing" that made my day. Going to have to change my vote now.

Yep, I'm pretty much over the "How much money has this political group wasted on that thing we care about?" Politicians, virtually all of them, are in office for their own gain first and foremost. There are plentiful examples from all sides of our wonderful leaders wasting our hard-earned money. The "division" of

That pretentious "lid" for a mason jar, and now this.

Really depends on whether or not you have kids. I've considered it, but if my three year old got his hands on a network cable and gave it a good yank, I might just lose my network shelf, my 360, or both. At this stage in life, if I can't put it behind the wall, I have to think a lot harder about whether or not I

Not sure how you can write an article that invokes the concept of racism and then go and use a line like "boring, white dude faces." Not that I find myself particularly interesting, but it is pretty offensive (dare I say it...racist?) to make it about them being white. The fewer times that I'm forced into the same
