This is why I spent a long, long time looking for an LCD that had a glass front rather than a bare LCD. It still isn't immune from issue, however I am much less afraid about accidental damage than I would have otherwise been.
@smi1ey: I don't understand it and I don't want it. A lot of the parts are neat, like the cooling system and the reservoir, but I'm just not a fan of the Frankenstein look.
Wow! A little over $7 is the average? I don't feel as bad about my $10 split 80/20 between Child's Play and EFF.
I did something similar to this, but did too much calorie restriction. While it was incredibly effective at weight loss, it was also a bit traumatic. Too stressful on body and mind, so I had to call it quits and wound up heavier than when I started.

@Guard: Same. My work machine won't (and can't) be changing, due to Microsoft development software, but my netbook with Arch Linux on it would be easily replaced with ChromeOS.
