I did the same thing with my old cellphone. Being able to have my alarm vibrate instead of buzz (er...well the vibrating does make a buzz sound. Instead of beep.) is great. So is the ability to still sync the time by turning it off of airplane mode every so often.

Fable 2 and 3 had Chesty. That involved playing through a dream. Only one time, but it was something.

A lot of people seem to disagree with me, but I liked Fable III. A lot.

@Nibel: Had to be $ome rea$on for thi$....

@pete: I could have sworn they were Atoms. May have gotten that confused with my Eee 901. Thanks for the correction.

Being someone that is constantly tinkering with his PC builds, this doesn't bother me much.

@lpranal: Good point! Between Meritline and DealExtreme, prices aren't so worrisome any more.

If it were not so darn expensive, I would want one. For now, I will just use a USB hub and the four or five cheapo SD card readers I have picked up over the past year or two. Not as elegant, but also not nearly as expensive.

My family is getting an HDTV for Christmas, and we are stuck with the plasma / LCD question. Just how much better is the plasma burn-in protection than it used to be? Can it handle a paused Netflix show / Netflix menu for several hours without issue, or do we have to be more proactive about it? At the moment, I am

@Segador: Blasphemy! It may be much, much healthier for you, but it certainly is not tastier than the original.

I have a tin of the cupcake tablets. Maybe I got a bad batch, but these don't so much bubble as slowly dissolve. There are bubbles, but cupcake flavored alka-seltzer it ain't.

That power pack looked much like the rechargeable for the 360 controller.

@Roots500: My guess? It will potentially improve it.

@RenRen: This is excellent for so many reasons.

@AmphetamineCrown: It does fold flat! Well that's an alternative that is only mostly out of my price range rather than entirely out of my price range. No need for fancy raising pedestal style sockets.
