Although a 4 cyl turbo would also have benefitted greatly from computer engine management, so that works too.

Understeer on a straight? And I thought they'd fixed that?

I'd just get a Prius at that point.

I've never had a IRS I didn't like :-)

That's part of the fun.

Number 1 - Computer engine management, the advancement that has removed complicated and bulky emissions equipment and brought the pushrod v8 into a new golden age. What's greener than a 6.2 liter torquemonster that gets almost 30mpg highway and farts nothing but unicorn kisses?

Didn't know you got Mission out there, right on.

I bet you could even "borrow" it from your dad, stuff it with your bros, floor it down your private runway, and disintegrate it 15 feet up a huge tree.

A retro fox would be a hoot. I'd love to see some concept art for that.

He was a pretty decent hoon, too!

There is no stopping the Night Rider.

Best IPA in a can, good question.

This is exactly why they have hoon laws.

Spray my GT3 in "Amarillo Green."

How permissive is the culture over there on that subject?

Retro is uninspired and done to death, it's true, but it's not like most affordable, high volume cars with contemporary styling are looking that great either.
