It’s funny too—I freaking love atmospheric games like Silent Hill or The Last of Us, but having to sit and listen to the radio is such a bore, and some of the broadcasts are miss-able or only happen in side quests. OR the 4 amigos decide to TALK OVER THEM.

If FFII didn’t exist, this would be my number one choice for the worst as it’s the first one since II that has absolutely lost my interest (yes, even XIII had me at least somewhat interested in what was going to happen), and it’s such a damn shame because the potential IS THERE.

I’m so disappointed by the story in this game. There’s so LITTLE to spoil that it’s no surprise that their marketing material revealed everything.

Now playing

Yeah he isn’t, he just carries around your dad’s sword for no good reason other than for you to have a weapon again in Ch 13. Also the frozen train sequence was in game, it just didn’t last very long:

(spoiler free)

THIS is the best recap I’ll probably read about Westworld in the days to come. Thank you!

with rumors of both of them being quite self involved and narcissistic

Actually, that’s usually when people have psychiatric problems. I don’t think he’s trying to be manipulative. When you’re already under stress (like a tour, for example) a minor change in your support system can cause a mental break. What happened to Kim would qualify as more than minor,

My friend did this (cold turkey) due to an abusive boyfriend. She spent a week in the hospital and can’t remember a few days. It was really heart breaking. Thank god for health care professionals who can help us in the darkest days .

Yeah, two people in my life with the education to DIY their prescriptions experienced complete disasters when they went ahead and changed their dosages. I’m all about empowering patients, but it’s just not something we can do - or should do - ourselves.

Fucking around with mood-altering drugs (the legal kind) is a recipe for disaster that I’ve experienced myself... even when you do things by the book, it can lead to scary changes in personality. I don’t even want to think what happens when you quit cold turkey or suddenly ramp up your dosage on the more potent ones.

He’s actually not a bad looking guy, but yeah, the posting pics of an ex, that’s a deal breaker.

The blown out eye isn’t creepy. The entire “posting an ex on the internet” is creepy as heck.

Just today, we were talking about this on my legislative district’s FB page and one of our resident NeverHillary folks challenged me to provide proof that the Russians were behind the hacks. I gave her a link to a NY Times article about how our own government believes the Russians are behind it, and she dismissed it

Really? My husband was a Sanders supporter, but when Clinton won the primary, he became a full on Clinton supporter. My husband grew up in Scotland, where socialism works in a lot of areas. To compare Sanders’ supporters to Trump’s supporters is BS! Were there Bernie Bros that were complete asses and fucked us all?

People say it’s Clinton’s fault, as it was Gore’s before her, that they lost,

As one of those who “supported” him during the occupy bullshittery, I can comment on my reasoning: I’m all for transparent democracy, and that was what he was promising. Him being a terrible person didn’t factor in because I saw the transparency as the “greater good”. We could worry about his douchebaggery after

It’s a rather deft term to describe the same kind of messianic, populist response to Sanders that Trump received from his supporters.

Assange is interesting, because I get the sense that he’s convinced he’s on the side of the angels and he could never be co-opted. He seems like he’s got a real Manichean streak and thinks that anybody opposing American/US hegemonic secretiveness must be a good actor.

Stop trying to make “alt-left” happen, it’s never going to happen
