I would say go for it, if you really wanna try and get into streaming then do it. Don’t worry about getting swatted, only big streamers get swatted because they have such a big live audience so the trolls target them because it’s more people witnessing their “prank”. These losers want attention, nothing more.

umm Dick Cheney did some stuff that substantially altered the direction of America, if you recall.

Riiiight. Clinton made HER choice. With no input, urging or influence by the DNC.

You know, if you’ve ever watched a TV show and skipped over the commercials, you’re stealing that TV show. Same thing if you’ve ever used an ad blocking program while you’ve looked at a website. Ever ‘stolen time’ while on the clock at work?

TL;DR If you have no tangible skills and are just an “idea guy,” as 90% of the people who think they want to make videogames are, then no. If you actually have a skill, along with a detailed plan including design documents, timeframe and budget then still probably no but maybe.

“I do not get the 250k fine, it’s just going to make this man’s life near impossible when he get’s done with his time. Which doesn’t really lead to successfully re-integrating him with society.”

The problem with that reasoning is that the amount of jail-time and amount of money usually isn’t a huge factor on prevention - most people who commit these kinds of crimes either don’t know they’re committing a crime, don’t know the possible sentences, or think they won’t get caught. It’s one of the least effective

I’m with you on that, but you gotta look at it this way, this person is going to be on the streets in 4 years, and he’s going to be slightly hardened and desperate and in debt. It’s just best for society that this person is eased back in as seamlessly as possible for the sake of other peoples rights. It’s kinda like

That’s your response to someone wanting to shoot up a workplace? How about you go fuck yourself.

Yeah that poor guy who wanted to murder someone, how dare he have FINES?

I only wish more people were prosecuted as harshly for making online threats. It would certainly help curb some of the trolls. Between people making threats on places like twitter or swatting, something needs to be done to punish them.

The way people play Ana is frustrating and I hope people either figure it out or she gets some kind of fix to make people play her as a healer with a side of sniper instead of sniper with a side of healing.

People still care about play of the game? Come on.

Very much disagree with the slow part (it’s more like lightning-fast compared to 4's VW Beetle, which is why Melee competitions use 4-stock while Smash 4 competitions use 2-stock on the same time limit), but definitely agree on the clunky. And utterly unbalanced. “Why again can only a few characters grab the ledge

The games are so different, it’s useless at best to compare them. The fact that one goes after the other is completely irrelevant when they play so differently. They scratch different itches too. Some people like fast and frantic gameplay, others prefer a more paced and tactical approach. Some people like that the

This. I understood why the competitive scene hated Brawl, but there is no real justification for Melee to continue to stand above Smash 4. At least they had both games at Evo this year.

“Melee just feels slow” .. you lost any credibility there.

Wait, Melee is slow? Which game are you watching? Melee is hella fast. Some characters are slower because they are defensive, but that’s by no means unique to Melee, or even Smash.

Congrats to Hungrybox. Great player of a great community. I liked his performance in Smash 4, even though it was probably done for fun or as a joke. Although Melee will pay his bills, I’m hoping that he maybe does a M2K and tries to do both.
