I like her a lot and think pop is better for having her/her songs in it, but I can't help but be cynical about the hype - it seems very much for people who have only now decided that pop music is good. But at least having her around means that the Internet has stopped trying to make Taylor Swift cool.

Timing to make sure she had a summer song?

The other day I was hanging out with a friend and one of his friends. My friend and I were talking about Carly Rae Jepsen for whatever reason, and the friend of his was amazed that "she still had a career." It made me realize that not everyone spends as much time on the Internet as I do.

Yeah, I mean, I get that it's well-done, but with so much other TV out there I can't figure out why I'd watch something that sounds so stale.

I hated Raven at the time, to be honest. I was no fan of Tyra but I felt at least Raven wasn't getting it.

Rizzo is damn attractive. The hottest since Slava in season 3.

I hope that being on the show somehow gets her the help she needs - even if it's just in the sense of more resources to draw upon (since she's clearly got no lack of fans now). She really does need professional help and I hope she gets it, for her own sake.

It was time for Nina to go, and I think she realized that. I hope the experience at least pushes Nina to get the help she needs.

I don't *dislike* her by any means, she's very enjoyable to have on the show, but she really doesn't do anything special.

Some people are just determined to dislike her. I don't get the "pretentiousness" angle from Sasha either, as the intellectual thing is very much who she is and what she lives. It doesn't come off as an act. There's a difference between "name-dropping Judith Butler to prove you know who Judith Butler is" and

He was very small.

Honestly, it's that DC has hitched their wagon to a director that is absolutely terrible at telling character-based stories. MCU works because we like the characters and like spending time with them, and also enjoy watching them hang out. DCEU seems to think that no one cares about things like that.

My mother is also named Bort.

No one wants a sexy Frankenstein, though. Even if Bardem has his customary shitty haircut (and when is he going to be in a movie where he gets a decent haircut again?).

I miss Han so much.

Build it around The Visitors!

I legitimately love that they don't bother disguising how he can't sing at all.

I would enjoy that.

Most people just look up "noble families of Ragusa" or "Bavarian dialects" while at work.
