I never even thought about it, I didn't realise this little phrase was different, I just knew both. The British version I feel makes more sense though, since you're not JUST "doing the dishes", you're doing cutlery, glasses etc too. "Washing up" is more general.

Funny how many little British phrases don't carry over to America.

With RPGs (perhaps specifically JRPGs), the situation is actually kind of the opposite. No one particularly likes regular fights, it's all about the boss battles.

It's a very British term. After a meal at home, someone has to do the washing up. Sometimes partners or children will be enlisted to help, in which case someone will do the drying up and someone has the task of doing the putting away.

It's not F2p to a tee, because F2p at least starts out as free.

If I'm paying $60 for a game, the only "transactions" I want to see are giant expansion packs or map packs. This nonsense reeks of Diablo 3 RMAH. I don't want an ever-changing marketplace where things are nerfed/buffed on the fly depending on if fans are unhappy.

True.

Baby wrestling isn't to be taken as lightly as this video lets on. Never have I seen a creature laugh so carefree while rending the flesh from their own mother... truly the little terrors are not to be trifled with.

Babies carry bioweapons in their diapers, so proceed with caution during ass kicking sessions....

Also Tales of Xillia 2, Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD, and FFX/X-2 HD.

Exactly.

Each game is a stand alone entry. P3 and P4 are vastly different from P1 and the P2 duology. First 2 games are more classic JRPGs and closer to the megaten games. P3 and P4 introduce time management and VN style relationship building with the characters and are pretty different in tone compared to the earlier

Or I just thought it looked neat and wanted to share it. You might be reading too much into this, but you seem to have a lot of free time, so knock yourself out.

You mean like this?

Heh you're high aren't you?

Start with 3 or 4. The continuity between games really doesn't matter and has no impact on your ability to understand or enjoy the games. Only the side characters persist.

Babality!

Meanwhile, in a galaxy far far away...
