We Aren’t Getting The New Toyota Corolla Wagon But We Should”

Pasted-on screens that jut up into the air can go pound sand.

As an old  Volvo guy, I still hate the sloped back window, I like that flat, vertical brick look.

SUVs are now cars. I doubt many non-enthusiast types think, “I have decided my next vehicle will be an SUV, a distinct type of vehicle that is not a car.” They say, “I’m getting a new car,” then they buy a RAV4 or whatever, then they say “look at my new car,” and it’s a RAV4. “Nice car.”

So here’s a thing that hadn’t occurred to me until just now: does this Ford nonsense mean that Lincoln is going to go SUV-only as well? This hadn’t occurred to me because I forgot Lincoln existed until that last bit.

“Name a Chinese car company. Any Chinese car company.”

SUVs from performance brands are everything bad about consumer culture. As long as it costs the right amount and has the right badge on it, people hardly care about the product anyway. Although I suppose the same can be said for the 7-series/S-class compared to their Korean competition.

This is the kind of statement that usually means a SUV is in the works.

I’d consider reading that headline again.

Several models of cars bite the dust vs saving us from as single crossover that never made it over here in the first place.

Will Canada get them?

So what you are saying is that nobody should care about the loss of low volume (50K units or less) vehicles, and that this is a non-issue ?

I hope Geely scoops them up. They do good for Volvo and Lotus.

maybe upgrade a bit to a 850

You all missed the target here.  This man needs a 9-2X.

2012-2017 Buick Regal GS. Take it from a fellow Pennsylvanian that has one, its what you need. It fits your budget, its comfy, has decent power, available with AWD, and you won’t see a ton of them on the road every day.

“Think of it this way, they’re not punishing people for driving a competition vehicle, they’re just rewarding those that buy the products they make.”

For weekdays at the ol’ parking lot:

I wanna know about the poor GM employees who bought the Cobalt. I would personally reward them for their courageous sacrifice.
