Seems like the Supra fanbase is split in opinions. I’m actually learning towards the positive end - Toyota is going back to the roots here: the car is in the mid $50k range which undercuts many luxury sport coupes from BMW M4 (sadly no S55B30 engine for this reason), C63 and etc. It is a strict two seater & not a GT

It felt like Boring Company probably ran out of money at some point but nobody wants to face the wrath of Elon so they delivered the Wal-mart/LIDL version they shown at LA this week.

So a small pedestrian tunnel is reconfigured with the Adelaide Metro O-bahn (or guided busway) on a car retrofitted with guides & it is like an amusement park ride bumpy even at 50mph?

Nissan today is really shaped heavily by Carlos Ghosn and it showed even before the whole tax dodging arrest a few weeks ago where Nissan stock tanked hard.

More Musk BS - The fact Tesla promised the $35k car since 2016 and still cannot deliver while holding onto all those reservations is not that far off fraud.

The 3 hatch looks better than the 6, and it has available AWD. This sounds tempting...

I can totally imagine Tesla becoming this, but on a MUCH grander scale. There would be pain...

I’m always a bit conflicted about Ghosn, but I’m still rather devastated to see this is how the man that saved Nissan is going to go down with. Yes we like to hate on their Xtronic CVT and the fact the 370Z & GT-R are old with no replacement on the horizon, but the simple fact is, without Ghosn there WOULD be no

+1. I wasn’t a big fan of the decision (owner of a Fusion & loved the Focus) but with the car buying market nowadays, it makes perfect sense.

Higher end dealers = better paid salespeople = more professional work attitude. Sure this is a gross generalization, but I have received better treatment at higher end locations than at Billy Bob’s Chevy most of the time.

More like brought out reserved parking spaces for the Tesla only cars. Disgusting...

Designed clearly for the US & China market clearly. Why would anyone drive this on a narrow European street is beyond me.

So can I have the S60 T8 R-design?

I heard rumors that the new mk4 Focus RS might turn to this - the new Focus architecture makes adding a mechanical AWD rather difficult, so to improve against the mk3 with its 2.3L Ecoboost 350hp + torque vectoring AWD and going up against even stronger rivals like the 375hp A45 AMG & 400hp RS3, Ford’s RS division

Interesting concept. I wonder if Porsche who recently cancelled all future diesel projects for full electrification on their lineup is listening to this and working on a similar design in-house.

A niche & unprofitable electric automaker that will file for Ch.7 and would soon becoming a wholly owned subsidiary of Toyota, GM or VW.

Grimes had a fallout with Musk after the Azelia Banks incident - so probably laughing at Musk’s expense.

So finally the hammer falls. So the end-game of Musk and probably Tesla is going to be sooner than I expect (I was betting closer to March 2019). Still Musk had it coming.

Remember when Elon blamed the government for not letting Tesla repair agents operate in Norway when news outlets starting reporting Tesla service centers & wait times have increased to unacceptable levels?

Knowing Musk, tomorrow on Twitter he will announce “TOUCHED” program for Tesla, all without crediting dudebro789 and claims “he dreamed of the acronym last night”.
