Says the ignorant one. Some leather, stitching & a giant fingerprint magnet doesn’t necessarily mean luxury. If that’s the measure of luxury, then by default the Cadillac CTS has a better interior than the Model S. If any Lexus, Mercedes & Volvo has a better interior than the CTS, then the Model S easily sits at the

Insurance rates also has to factor the price of the cars. Considering the Model X is still a 6 figure luxury car, the price of fixing it (and the fact independent Tesla shops are still a little hard to come by) means my statement still stands.

P.S. the US based IIHS which is significantly more stringent on crash

Cheap is cheap, there’s no getting around that. Tesla cuts corners when it comes to interior quality and hopes the large central touchscreen draws enough attention away from the rest of the cabin which is nowhere near that of Audi or Lexus when it comes to details as well as fit & finish.

And this looks better how? Minimalist != Spartan, and what I see considering the price equal to that a a 330i, A4 2.0T or XE 25t is disgusting.

If you viewed the RC-F as a performance GT car then it makes more sense. A cut-rate SL63 AMG, Vanquish or F12 if you wished. Those cars aren’t light or agile as a BMW M4 but you likely won’t care.

A better response is to address owners concerns directly and not make blatant misdirection of AAA comparing their ~$75k+ cars to other ~$75k+ cars. Contrary to Tesla’s beliefs, their cars aren’t all that necessarily different other than the fact they use electricity to power its wheels.

Lovely how Tesla can’t seem to take criticism even in the slightest. Shows about how fragile the company & its cars really are once you take the mystique away from its products.

As innovative as the i3 & i8 are, I can only imagine the cost of engineering, building & selling such unique cars with so little commonality to the regular BMW models.

Words can’t explain how big a d-bag this tool is.

Coupes especially with ones lacking performance & luxury is hard to sell these days. Everyone who wants want is likely steered into a hatchback, sedan or god forbid, another “SUV”.

Overspeeding by +20km/h, not stopping fully for stop signs, “what is this turn signal?”, darting into impossibly small gaps in traffic...

Ecobee3 user here for ~3 months. Thing is pretty great; does what it is advertised and temperature can be set ~2 deg lower in winter and still feel as comfortable as the last one. The remote sensor can be placed in colder areas of house and temperatures can be averaged out.

I heard that if all things are equal, a 3 box sedan should have the rigidity advantage to a hatchback. I’m not sure if that is true or not however.

I’m somewhat surprised, as the last GLK was one of the few models Mercedes made that didn’t receive a full AMG treatment (appearence pack doesn’t count).

I was looking for this, thank-you.

Honestly this is a bit sad, but cheating is cheating. VW should have saw this coming eventually.

Ladies and gents, welcome to real life, or the “what happens once you rest on your laurels”.

Stealth marketing at its finest.

Elio is already known as the joker of the autmotive industry, a close 2nd after Faraday “no” Future.

I’m going to straight up call it now that no production car will ever reach customers by July of 2017.
