That’s the matter on our society; we value style over substance. Ever sat in a very high MPV like the Mazda 5 or Mercedes B-class (both have very small footprint mind you) then you realize you almost get a SUV-like sitting position (very upright) with enough headroom for funny hats on everyone.

The exterior lack of a grille might just be the identity of Tesla down the road (even if I did think the Model S ‘blacked out grill’ works the best) just like BMW with their twin kidneys & Lexus with their Spindle.

Too bad that the actual product that a customer can drive is AT LEAST ~2 years away.

The only way this will sell is if Toyota prices is right.

While I can see why this is helpful to prevent those rich enough to afford any car in the first place, I think an MSRP cap works better.

A maximum $12,000 car. Lots of value here given its rarity & condition, but old 90s Alfa with a weak dealer network & Alfa reliability means it’ll probably double in cost to own down the road.

Lincoln & Acura are both terrible badge engineering brands. I can let Buick slip by because most of their cars are models only available overseas built/engineered by Opel. Even then the transaction price of a Buick is a lot less than Lincoln & Acura. (Probably because GM has something called Cadillac sitting on top,

I don’t find myself caring how famous Chris Evans is in his radio show in the UK or what not.

“Running 87 octane gas in my car which reads “91 octane required” is fine because all it really is are manufacturers working with oil companies to make us pay more $ for gas!”

At least you can walk into your dealership on a Sunday.

Sorry, $100,000 USD? With the same running gear as a smaller lighter sports coupe costing a fraction less?
I cannot farthom what Lexus is thinking of. Stunning yes, but that 6 figure price tag is in the same breathing space as things like F-type V8, 911 Carrera & Mercedes S550 coupe. All are much more powerful & more

The X205 GLC is clearly derived off the W205 C-class, similar to the last X204 GLK is based off the W204 C-class.

Given the longitundal engine mounting (and if Mercedes bothered changing the 4matic system) then I think it is safe to assume the GLC 4matic will have the same 45:55 front-rear default torque split of the

I’ll be happy if Elio reaches production stage and keep it under $15k before taxes (which is what I expect it to cost after the fanfare & firecrackers settle).

I agree fully.

Knock $7k off that price tag and it would become a sweet project car. At $23k it is not worth the effort on a car which in NA you have to special order parts for.

I feel I can relate to this. I’m a rather broad car enthuaist that grew up loving Japanese metal but not after exposing my views I come to embrace American & European products as well.

When I was younger I always thought Mercedes were pretty bad, but after test driving one I liked it (and convinced my mom to purchase

It almost resembles some race cars from Namco's Ridge Racer series.

Frankly, I actually like it. The designs looks good while retaining a sports-car shape; MR & ~1000kg with a 11,000rpm engine all sounds too good to be true.

If it makes the production line Alfa Romeo (& Lotus), consider yourself screwed.

The A110 is too small for Americans, I was thinking the late GTA 2.5 Turbo & the A610 Turbo.

Agreed. BMW drivers (especially 3ers) are notorious for aggressive driving; no signalling, cutting in/out of traffic and driving 20-30 over the speed limit. Every single time I get aggressively cut-off, it is ALWAYS a BMW, and 90% of the time it is a 3.

1992 Renault Alpine A610 Turbo
250hp & 258lb/ft from rear-mounted 3.0 PRV V6 Turbo. Handles neutrally, praised to be better than established sports cars of its era (300ZX, RX-7 Mk3, even Espirit Turbo). Enough space for 4 ADULT passengers (hear that Porsche?) and refined enough to use everyday. Looks great as well.
