I know we make lots of "WAAAALT!" jokes around here, and it's all in good fun, but let's not reduce this gentleman's role to just a punchline - he truly did a terrific job on Lost.

I don't argue against the common line of the Simpson's decline, but I'm always scratching my head at this insistence of naming "Principal and the Pauper" as (A.) When it started to go downhill and (B.) A really bad episode to begin with.

It seems too much like a "C'mon, that's stupid" thing to say, and obviously there are many complicated things brought up by Todd in this article, but I have the sneaking suspicion that it all pretty much comes down to this.
